About Becker Transport
At Becker Transport, we pride ourselves on providing solutions to our clients’ requirements. We can arrange a straightforward delivery, a hiab lift, movement of construction plant and ADR transport.
We are also highly skilled in complex installations or removals of machinery or laboratory equipment, and have the experience required to ensure the move goes smoothly.
We are ISO accredited to 9001 and 14001. In addition, we are FORS GOLD compliant, which incorporates SUDS and CLOCS, and is only awarded to companies that can demonstrate full compliance with the legal responsibilities and best industry practice.
Our highly experienced staff have been crucial to achieving a reputation for quality service and commitment to our clients’ needs. Becker was established in 1965 and still operates as a 3rd generation family-owned business from one of four warehouses based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
We still operate the same client focused ethos, building relationships on trust and confidence.
With a range of vehicles such as articulated flat trailers, plant trailers and lorry mounted cranes we are able to deliver materials and equipment to construction projects throughout the UK and mainland Europe.
We have personnel with experience of loading and unloading various types of equipment, from access platforms to tracked and wheeled plant machinery.
Our drivers hold accreditations such as ALLMI, ITSSAR and ADR. Our lorry mounted cranes offer even more flexibility with a range of lifting capacities and features such as air ride suspension systems and loading ramps and twistlocks, we have the ability to complete a wide range of tasks on a single vehicle.
To ensure we work in a safe and secure environment we can supply method statements, risk assessments and lifting plans for work to be carried out.
