History
Becker History
From our conception in 1965, to the present day, Becker has always reacted to the requirements of our customers, and this has been the driving force behind the growth and diversity of our fleet.
Beginning with one vehicle delivering potatoes to grocery stores, expanding into container transport in and out of Felixstowe Docks, soon meant an additional two vehicles were required. Delivering computer spares meant expanding the van fleet to five. Soon adding tail lifts, artic flats, curtains, and semi low loaders to the fleet, alongside our specialist laboratory and machinery moving vehicles and equipment, enabled us to service a varied customer base, just as we do today.
It soon became apparent that some clients required short- and long-term storage options, so the first of four warehouses was purchased, and we still own and operate them today.
Proud to still be operating as a third-generation family business, operating almost 30 different vehicles, and continuing to listen and react to the requirements of our clients. Another reason you can rely on Becker.
